About the artist
Osaze Amadasun is an illustrator and designer currently living and working in Lagos, Nigeria. His works cut across drawing, painting, illustration and graphic design.
Although Osaze has been an avid art lover since his childhood days, he was trained formally as an architect, graduating with a BSc. in Architecture in 2014 and a Master's Degree in Environmental Design in 2016, both from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. It was during his architecture program that he was fully introduced to the concepts of design thinking as well as computer aided design (CAD). Since then, Osaze has integrated these into his day-to-day creative workflow and explores both the traditional and digital media to create his art.
Osaze’s works reflect the diverse culture of his environment and he shows a keen interest in documenting and storytelling through his art. Amadasun’s works have been featured in a number of exhibitions as well as publications both locally in his country of origin and indeed internationally.
